Brampton is a community I've watched transform over the past two decades. We've been working here since the early days, painting everything from family homes in established neighbourhoods to the emerging condo market downtown and near Mount Pleasant. When you call us, you're talking to me directly, not a call centre, not a sales rep. I'll come to your property, walk through the space with you, and take it from there.

Painting in Brampton: what this community demands

Brampton has grown from a quiet manufacturing town into one of Canada's most dynamic and diverse communities. You've got the downtown core revitalization centred around the Rose Theatre, the emerging condo market at Bramalea City Centre and Mount Pleasant Village, and established family neighbourhoods in every direction. The community is young, growing, and increasingly sophisticated.

The people moving to Brampton are working professionals, entrepreneurs, families upgrading their homes, young parents building equity. You'll find a vibrant South Asian and Punjabi community, small business owners, tech workers, tradespeople. Brampton is known for being affordable relative to downtown Toronto, but without sacrificing quality or community character. People here care about their homes and expect honest, reliable service from their contractors.

That means quality paint, Benjamin Moore Regal Select and Ultra Spec, not discount lines. It means protecting hardwood floors and countertops. It means showing up on time, doing what we promise, and treating every property with respect. Brampton has been good to our business because we've been good to Brampton residents. We deliver fair pricing, no surprises, and professional work.

Brampton's housing stock: townhouses, freehold, and the growing condo wave

Brampton's residential mix differs meaningfully from Toronto. The dominant housing type is freehold townhouse and detached single-family rather than high-rise condo, and the construction wave is mostly post-1990 with major growth phases in the early 2000s (Mount Pleasant, Springdale, Bram East) and 2015 onwards (Brampton West, the Mayfield corridor). The newer condo growth around Brampton Civic Centre and along the Hurontario corridor is concentrated in buildings completed after 2015.

What this means for paint scope:

Larger square footages drive larger projects. A typical Brampton 2-storey detached home is 2,000–2,800 sq ft, and townhouses run 1,400–1,900 sq ft. Full-home repaints here are 5–8 day projects compared to 2–3 days for a comparable Toronto condo. We bring 3–4 person crews for residential homes here rather than the 2-person condo standard.

Stairwell and high-ceiling work is common. Brampton townhouses commonly have 2-storey foyers, vaulted family room ceilings, and split-level stair walls that need ladders or scaffolding. We include the equipment scope in the quote rather than as an extra. Some condo painters won't quote 2-storey work; we do.

Exterior painting is a real scope here. Detached homes and townhouses with painted exterior wood trim, garage doors, and front-door work make up a meaningful share of our Brampton bookings, especially in spring. Our exterior product specifications are different from interior (Aura Exterior or Regal Select Exterior) and we factor weather windows into scheduling — we will not paint exterior wood at temperatures below 10°C or above 32°C per the BM TDS.

Travel from Toronto to Brampton adds 45–60 minutes each way depending on the 410/407 traffic and we may apply a small travel surcharge for jobs in the far northwest corner of the city.

What Brampton clients say

★★★★★
Hands down the BEST painters in the GTA! Chad and the crew are punctual in their timing, meticulous in their work, and efficient in their time management. Our whole condo was painted, from floorboards to ceiling, in a day and a half and at a reasonable price. This crew will be recommended to all of our family and friends and they should be your first call for all of your painting needs!
Mark Darling · Toronto
★★★★★
Chad and his team did an amazing job painting the interior of my condo unit and also with the drywall repair. Everything looks smooth, clean, and professionally done. Would definitely recommend.
Aldo Ndreu · Toronto
★★★★★
Chad and team were awesome to work with. They were reasonable priced and went above and beyond and painted some difficult spaces in the house (textured walls and tall hallways). We are very happy with the final product. Would 100% recommend!
Paige Hillier · Downtown Toronto

"Chad's team was professional from start to finish. They showed up when they said they would, did quality work, and didn't try to upsell us on things we didn't need. The price was fair, the work was excellent, and they cleaned up after themselves every day. That's all you want from a contractor. We're definitely calling them again.", Jaswant Singh, Brampton

Pricing

Brampton condo painting typically runs $900-$1,300 for a one-bedroom, $1,400-$2,000 for a two-bedroom, and $2,200-$2,400 for larger units. Cabinet refinishing starts at $2,200. All prices are plus HST and include quality paint, prep, building coordination, and our 5-year workmanship warranty.

Every quote is based on seeing your space, I won't give you a number over the phone that doesn't reflect the actual work involved.

Brampton painting FAQ

How much does painting cost in Brampton? Pricing depends on unit size and scope. A typical one-bedroom condo runs $1,800–$2,400, two-bedroom runs $2,800–$3,800, and larger units quote individually. All prices include premium paint, full prep, building coordination where applicable, two coats, and our 5-year workmanship warranty. HST not included.

Do you handle the COI submission to my building's property manager? Yes, completely. We submit a $2M commercial general liability Certificate of Insurance naming your specific Brampton building to the property manager within one business day of booking. Most major Toronto property managers (Crossbridge, FirstService, Del, ICC) already have our paperwork on file.

Can you paint while I'm living in the unit? Yes — most of our Brampton clients stay during painting. We sequence rooms so a working bedroom and bathroom are always available, wrap furniture in plastic in place, use zero-VOC paint that lets you sleep in the unit the same night, and vacuum the work area at end of every day.

How long does a typical Brampton project take? A studio: 0.5–1 day. One-bedroom: 1–2 days. Two-bedroom: 2–3 days. Three-bedroom or larger: 3–5 days. Cabinet refinishing is a separate scope and runs 5–10 working days including off-site door spray.

Do you offer Farrow & Ball or just Benjamin Moore? Both. Most Brampton jobs use Benjamin Moore (Aura, Regal Select, Advance for trim and cabinets). We also work in Farrow & Ball Estate Emulsion and Modern Emulsion when clients want the specific depth and colour-shift quality F&B is known for. F&B typically needs three coats vs BM's two, and we factor that into the quote.

Do you charge a travel surcharge for Brampton? We quote travel transparently at walk-through. Brampton is within our standard service radius for most jobs. Far-edge addresses may include a small travel line on the quote.

What's the warranty? 5-year workmanship warranty in writing on every invoice. We come back and fix any application failure inside that window at no charge. The warranty is tied to the address, not the homeowner, so it transfers if you sell. See our warranty page for full terms.
